Portion Masters, a food education board game jointly developed by O Sentai and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), received the Gold Award under Category C: Innovation in Learning and Teaching at the International Teaching Enhancement & Learning Innovation Carnival 2026 (ITeLIC’26).

The game combines professional knowledge of food portions with interactive gameplay, transforming complex nutrition concepts into an enjoyable, practical, and relatable learning experience. By recreating everyday mealtime situations, Portion Masters helps players understand the principles of a balanced diet, recognise appropriate portion sizes, and apply what they have learned when making daily food choices.

Blending academic knowledge with thoughtful and engaging game design, Portion Masters is suitable for use in schools, families, and a wide range of food education programmes. This Gold Award represents an important recognition of the game’s innovative teaching approach and educational impact.

The achievement also inspires O Sentai to continue exploring practical and enjoyable ways of learning, making healthy-eating knowledge more accessible and bringing meaningful food education into the lives of more people.
